Sky Up Academy Studios

Sky Up Academy Studios are offering 12 youth groups between 1^st – 4^th August a FREE immersive experience that places young people centre stage as media creators.

Your group will work in small teams, taking on real-life media roles to create their very own Sky News report. Working alongside their team of experts, young people’s ideas will come to life.

Sky believe that every young person has enormous potential. No matter who they are, or where they’re from, their voice needs to be heard. They are committed to making Sky Up Academy Studios accessible to all. Their purpose build studio welcomes young people with disabilities and learning needs.

The 2 hour Academy Studios trip caters for up to 32 young people aged 8-18, and includes:

• A hands on learning experience creating their very own content.
• A screening of their video on the day and the ability to share it afterwards.
• A behind-the-scenes tour at Sky.
• Detailed ‘Teacher Guide’ to prepare for the trip including Risk Assessment and Parental Consent Form.
