STEM Nation Award Open Days

Education Scotland will be hosting a series of STEM Nation Award Open Days this February and March. These events, held across various STEM Nation Award settings throughout Scotland, will include both in-person and virtual sessions.

Building on last year’s successful STEM Nation Expo, our team at Education Scotland is delighted to announce that we are working with a group of inspirational educators to host a series of STEM Nation Open Days across Scotland. The programme of visits will run throughout February and March and will include three virtual visits to settings in rural and remote areas.

Confirmed event dates and locations are listed here. This page will be updated with Eventbrite links as soon as ticket sales go live.

Practitioners are welcome to attend any event that is of interest to them. These events are FREE to attend. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

Aims of the Open Days

  1. To exemplify and share interesting and innovative practice from STEM Nation settings with other educators and STEM stakeholders to promote the STEM Nation Award programme and support the development of STEM practice across Scotland.
  2. To recognise and celebrate the achievements of individual settings as part of the STEM Nation Award programme within their own local community.
