Teaching About Migration CPD launch

The British Red Cross have launched a new Teaching About Migration CPD course, which offers an introduction to teaching about migration using a trauma-informed approach.

The British Red Cross have launched a new Teaching About Migration CPD course. It offers an introduction to teaching about migration using a trauma-informed approach and includes the tools, knowledge, and resources educators need to feel confident exploring this topic – even with young people in the room who have lived experience of migration.
The course was co-produced with six incredible ambassadors from the VOICES network, whose insight, ideas, and practical tips for educators have been absolutely invaluable.
This is the first version of the e-learning modules, and they will be gathering feedback from both internal and external audiences before launching Version 2 in September.
They also have a Teaching About Climate CPD course ready for testing – if you are a youth worker with an interest in this area and would like to provide feedback, The British Red Cross would be happy to share it with you ahead of the launch in September.
To access the CPD courses, sign up to the BRC Educator Hub.
