Tennis Activators

The LTA and Tennis Scotland are looking for parents, young volunteers and anyone passionate about tennis in their community to take part in a new project to recruit, train and support a new group of Community Tennis Activators.  The ambition is for the new Activator workforce to be reflective of local communities across Scotland, with gender parity across those recruited and trained.

Tennis Scotland aims to expand the tennis workforce to run fun, inclusive sessions across community venues, park sites and indoor centres, enhancing participation and to increase regular play opportunities. Current workforce shortages limit growth, and Tennis Scotland want to recruit, train and support a new group of Community Tennis Activators. These activators drawn from parents, young volunteers and others passionate about tennis would help deliver accessible, low‑ or no‑cost sessions alongside the professional coaching workforce.

Their offer is designed to set you up for success from day one, giving you everything you need to deliver high‑quality and inclusive sessions for all. You will receive: A Dynamic 2 hour training sessions delivered by LTA Tutor, Support from an LTA accredited coach, A full bag of tennis equipment and PVG checks for all activators.
