The Good Measure Project

Youth organisations needed to help promote a test survey on adolescent health with young people and encourage them to take part. They are offering collaborating youth organisations a one-off donation of £200!

A team of researchers from the University of Glasgow are working to design better questions on adolescent sex and sexuality for future survey research on adolescent health. They’ve worked with young people to design a new set of survey questions and now they want to test how well these work. To do this, they require support from youth organisations to help promote the test survey to young people and encourage them to take part. They are offering collaborating youth organisations a one-off donation of £200 as recognition of staff time to support with survey promotion and distribution. (Depending on level of interest, this will be offered on a first come, first served basis).

Would your organisation be interested in supporting this work? They are looking for young people aged 14-19 living in the UK to complete the survey. Young people don’t need to have any sexual experience to take part. The survey is anonymous, but participants will be able to click a separate link to enter a prize draw (up to 20 winners will each receive a £50 voucher).

As a collaborating organisation, they would require your help with the following tasks over the next 2 months:

If your organisation is interested in being a collaborator has any questions or would like to see a copy of the survey questions, please get in touch with the research team as soon as possible.
