Young Fair Trade Advisor Opportunity

Young people don’t need to be an expert on Fair Trade. Scottish Fair Trade is looking for young people’s insights as to what messages will work best for young people so all levels of knowledge are welcome.

What’s involved?

Between May and September 2025 the aim is to hold eight meetings with the young advisor team. These meetings will:

• Set goals, objectives and success measures for the project.
• Research insights and audience.
• Develop a campaign strategy and clear messages.
• Select channels and consider budget.
• Advise on engaging content.
• Launch the campaign.
• Monitor, evaluate and learn for future campaigns.

What can the young people expect?

• Payment of the Real Living Wage £12.60 per hour i.e. 8 sessions x 2 hours.
• Training and experience on the development of a live charity campaign.
• Personal development and support throughout.
• A safe space to engage.
• A reference on completion.
