Young People, Mental Health and Economic Inactivity: Lived Experience Research

Public Health Scotland is looking for support from organisations that can help them connect with young people aged 16-24 who may be interested in taking part in a lived experience research project exploring how poor mental health affects young people’s ability to sustain further education, employment and other positive post-school destinations.

Public Health Scotland is working with research consultants Rocket Science to undertake a lived experience research project exploring how poor mental health affects young people’s ability to sustain further education, employment and other positive post-school destinations.

They’re currently seeking support from organisations that can help them connect with young people aged 16-24 who may be interested in taking part in the research. Specifically, they’re looking to engage with young people from a range of backgrounds who have lived or living experience of poor mental health and who have left, or been at risk of leaving, education, work or apprenticeships as a result.

If you are interested in supporting the project, or would like further information, please get in touch with Victoria Palmer.
