Young Women Changemakers

The Young Women’s Movement has an opportunity for 12 young women aged 16-18yrs living in Scotland to participate in their Young Women Changemakers programme. You don’t need experience in activism to be a ‘Young Women’s Changemaker’ participant, just an interest in activism and a willingness to share ideas and bring about change for young women!

Young Women Changemakers will work together to:

• Design a resource/guide which will be hosted on our website, shared widely through our social platforms and shared with other organisations working with young women.
• Design a workshop which will be offered to community partners and youth work groups and delivered by YWM facilitators.

Young Women Changemakers will run January to October 2025 and consist of:

• 8 x 2 hour sessions (January – April 25), followed by
• 3-4 co-design/consultation sessions with young women to sense check and finalise design of the workshop and online resource (July – October 2025)

Travel expenses available if required.
