Grass with the words climate change

Scottish Government has shared the draft Climate Change Plan which is currently out to public consultation until 29th January. We would encourage you to respond to it and involve the young people you work with in gathering their views on the future of the climate change plan.

The draft Climate Change Plan includes the policies and proposals that Scotland needs to end our contribution to increasing global emissions and deliver real benefits for people across Scotland – warmer homes, better air quality, and the health benefits of active travel – to support people in our communities to live longer, healthier, more fulfilling lives.

The draft plan can be found here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/scotlands-climate-change-plan-2026-2040/

Consultation is open here on Citizen Space: https://consult.gov.scot/energy-and-climate-change-directorate/draft-climate-change-plan/

There is a children and young people’s version of the plan here: https://www.gov.scot/publications/scotlands-climate-change-plan-2026-2040-childrens-version/
