Research Impact Prize for Sustained Partnership

At the recent University of Edinburgh’s Impact Festival 2025, the Scottish Youth Work Research Steering Group won the Research Impact Prize for Sustained Partnership!

On the 29th May our Chief Executive Tim Frew attended The University of Edinburgh Impact Festival 2025, where Dr Ian Fyfe and the Scottish Youth Work Research Steering Group won the Research Impact Prize for Sustained Partnership.

Amy Calder, YouthLink’s Senior Policy and Research Officer who sits on the group, said:  “I’m really proud that Dr Ian Fyfe and the Scottish Youth Work Research Steering Group have been recognised with a Research Impact Prize for Sustained Partnership.  This partnership consisting of academic, policy and practice colleagues have worked together to further the interests and needs of research in the youth work sector in Scotland. We have achieved a lot with little, and will continue to work with the sector to build an evidence base on the impact of youth work on young people’s lives.”
