This Youth Work Week runs from 2nd-8th November. Help us show how youth work supports young people’s mental health and wellbeing by sharing what happens in your project, what young people value and the difference your work makes.
Youth Work Week is coming soon: Monday 2nd – Sunday 8th November!
The week begins with our National Youth Work Conference on Monday, titled “Before Crisis: Youth Work and Young People’s Mental Health“. Throughout the rest of the week, we will continue the conversation by shining a light on youth work in communities across Scotland.
This year’s Youth Work Week theme, Youth Work and Young People’s Mental Health, gives us a powerful platform to demonstrate what youth workers and organisations are already doing every day to support young people, build resilience, strengthen connections and provide help before difficulties escalate.
We encourage the Scottish youth work sector to get involved: whether it is a young person’s story, a photograph, a piece of research, an impact statistic or an example of effective partnership working, your contribution matters.
View our short communications toolkit with suggested messages, social media content and practical ways to take part. It doesn’t have to be complicated – one story or social media post can make a difference.
Please use #YWW26 and #YouthWorkChangesLives, and tag @YouthLinkScot so that we can help share and celebrate your work. You can also send examples of your impact to media@youthlink.scot.
