Scouts Scotland

The 2nd Paisley Abbey Scout Group is part of The Scouts and provide opportunities for young people based in and around Paisley to play their part, speak up and gain skills for life.

Through their social action campaign, A Million Hands, the group of young people, explored the topic of mental health and wellbeing. This resulted in them developing a simple tool that would help young people better understand how to manage their wellbeing, along with some simple tasks that they can do each day of the week.

Using the Five Ways to Wellbeing Chatterbox, a resource created by Mind, Inspire and SAMH, the group had to decide the best way to represent wellbeing. What do you think they came up with? Pizza, of course!

The Wellbeing Pizza is an interactive resource to help young people understand wellbeing, with three simple activities to help you discuss all the factors that contribute to a balanced sense of wellbeing. It’s tasty, too!
