Cairngorms National Park Local Development Plan Surveys
The Cairngorms National Park Authority has published a series of surveys to collect views on issues affecting the people who live and work in the Cairngorms National Park to help inform the next Local Development Plan. The Plan will help guide development in the National Park, including where affordable housing, community facilities and economic development will go. The deadline for responses is 31st October.

Details will be released soon but anyone can sign up to attend a training session to find out more about the Young STEM Leaders Programme - Events | Young STEM Leader Programme.  Young people taking part in a CLD programme can work towards a Young STEM Leader Award.

Educators: Where are we on LfS and Climate Change?
The Scottish Government and Education Scotland, through Keep Scotland Beautiful, have commenced a consultation process involving pupils, educators, senior management teams and local authority officers. Anxiety has been revealed as the main mental health concern for children and young people when receiving help from Childline.  This World Mental Health Day, Childline is encouraging young people to reach out to the service for support.

The King’s Trust has recently launched the findings of new research commissioned with Public First on the impact of AI on young people’s employment. The new economic modelling and large-scale polling has produced a detailed analysis of how AI is likely to affect young people’s place in the labour market.
