This funding directory lists hundreds of charity grants and youth work funds for practitioners, youth clubs, voluntary organisations, community projects and more.

You’ll find information on everything from small local grants for individual practitioners to national funding schemes for large-scale projects. You’ll also find information and guidance on our national funding partnerships here, including the National Voluntary Youth Organisation Support Fund.

NFU Mutual Charitable Trust
The NFU Mutual Charitable Trust promotes and supports charities in the UK working in agriculture, rural development and insurance. Trustees are particularly interested in the education of young people in rural areas and relief of poverty within rural areas and will focus on providing funding to larger initiatives, which would have a significant impact on the rural community. The next deadline is 9th October.

The Ponton Trust
The Trust's objective is to distribute grant aid to registered charities working with children and young people in the Edinburgh and Lothian area. Its preferred approach is to fund modestly sized projects or contributions to wider programmes and services where direct positive outcomes for young people can be demonstrated. The next deadline is 10th October.

New Park Educational Trust
The Trust operates by giving grants to organisations and, less frequently, to individuals. The charitable object is the advancement of education for the public benefit. Priority has been given to North East Fife and surrounding areas, but projects have been helped throughout Scotland. The next deadline is 14th October.

The Novum Trust
Providing small short-term, one-off grants generally of between £500 and £2,500 to support distinctively new and Scottish projects in Christian action and research. The next deadline is 15th October.

The Magdalen Hospital Trust
Funding for projects working with vulnerable children and young adults, especially those at risk of sexual and other forms of exploitation. Projects can include those that provide: training for work and personal development, clubs and play schemes, safeguarding education, mental health support and counselling and emergency care. The next deadline is 31st October.

Local Energy Scotland - CARES Community Buildings Fund
Provides grants to help community organisations reduce their building’s energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions. It does this by funding the installation of renewable technologies like heat pumps, battery storage, and solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, as well as some energy efficiency measures. The next deadline is 31st October.

Weavers Benevolent Fund
Funds are given to help disadvantaged young people, especially those at risk of offending, and to address problems faced by offenders, ex-offenders and their families. There is a preference for supporting smaller charities which provide direct services. The next deadline is 12th November.

FCC Scottish Action Fund
The FCC Communities Foundation provides funding for community, heritage, and environmental projects in areas around eligible waste management sites in Scotland. The next round opens on 2nd September and closes at 5pm on 18th November.

Henry Smith Foundation - Holiday Grants
Grants towards recreational holidays or outings within the UK for children aged 13 and under who are from areas of high deprivation, are experiencing disadvantage, or who have a disability. Trips can be to countryside or city locations, but must be outside the children's immediate locality. Applications for trips between 1st October and 31st December are open between 20th August and 19th November.

The Fore
The Fore funds small charities that make a big impact. They offer unrestricted funding to have a transformational impact on your whole organisation, supporting growth, structure, sustainability or efficiency. The next round is open from 25th November to 2nd December.

Stafford Trust
The Trust will consider applications for grants from charities registered in the United Kingdom, with preference being given to charitable organisations operating in Scotland. They fund local community projects and child welfare projects. The next deadline is 31st December.
