Leading in Youth Work Organisations
Lead in a youth work organisation and want to grow your practice? Leading in Youth Work Organisations is Youth Scotland's leadership qualification programme for managers and senior leaders in voluntary youth work organisations. The course starts on 24th February in Glasgow. Participants will be required to attend 6 full days as part of the course. Apply by 26th January.

Welcome to Your Vote Week 2026
Every year the Electoral Commission asks schools, youth groups and anyone who works with young people to join them in supporting young people to learn about democracy and voting.  Welcome to Your Vote Week will be taking place from 9th to 15th March. The theme this year is “Why Voting Matters” with a focus on exploring why voting is important to young people and discussing the impact their vote can have on their everyday life.

Use of nicotine pouches has risen substantially in Great Britain over the last five years, particularly among young men, with one in 13 (7.5%) men aged 16 to 24 now using them, according to a new study led by researchers at UCL.

The Standards outline what young people should expect when seeking help for drugs or alcohol.
