We are delighted to announce that the Board of YouthLink Scotland is recruiting a new independent Chair to succeed Angela Leitch CBE, who stepped down in November 2025 after three years in post. Find out more and nominate a suitable candidate by 1st March.
National Youth Work Awards 2026
More time to nominate for the National Youth Work Awards 2026! We’ve extended the deadline for nominations to give more people the chance to put forward the youth work making a difference in their communities. You now have until 9th February to nominate your youth work heroes!

Youth Work Manifesto
The manifesto sets out three national commitments Scotland must make to ensure every young person can thrive through access to high-quality youth work. Together, they represent the foundation of a stronger, fairer youth work system: guaranteed by law, universally accessible, and sustained by investment.

World Community Development Conference - Call for Abstracts
Hosted by the University of Glasgow, this unique global event brings together all concerned with community development, its challenges and contributions. Abstracts for WCDC 2026 are welcomed from practitioners, activists, educators, researchers, students, community leaders, policy makers, unwaged workers, and funders, to explore how the discipline and practice of community development can respond to the challenges of a chaotic world, drive meaningful change, and foster collective action.
